BNS collaborated closely with the Google Next team to evolve the visual language established in the previous year, expanding the identity system beyond abstract 3D forms and further integrating the logo into the motion design approach. My contribution focused on animating a series of custom 2D letterforms, where I developed a shape-driven metaball system entirely natively, without relying on third-party plugins. I also explored a range of procedural array techniques to choreograph the interaction between the bespoke forms, creating a dynamic sense of rhythm, transformation, and energy that brought the NEXT logo to life.
